Case Summary

  • Age Group: 40s

  • Sex: Female

  • Primary Concern: Uterine fibroids associated with oestrogen dominance, causing pelvic discomfort, heavy menstrual bleeding, and systemic hormonal imbalance.

  • Key Outcome: Reduction in oestrogenic tissue stimulation, local mucosal oxygenation, and enhanced trace mineral rehydration.

The Journey

In September 2022, a woman in her 40s reached out to Integra navigating the overwhelming physical and emotional toll of uterine fibroids.

Uterine fibroids—non-cancerous muscular growths within the wall of the uterus—are frequently driven by an underlying biochemical environment dominated by elevated oestrogen levels. For this client, the condition was far more than a simple clinical diagnosis. She was living with daily pelvic pressure, severe menstrual discomfort, unpredictable bleeding, and the persistent fatigue that accompanies chronic hormonal disruption.

Navigating her 40s, she faced the unsettling possibility of invasive surgical procedures or long-term pharmaceutical hormone suppressants—options that often carry significant side effects without addressing the root metabolic cause. Feeling anxious about her options and eager to protect her systemic health, she and her family sought a gentle, non-invasive pathway. She approached Integra for an Integrative Health Perspective (IHP) to help rebalance her hormones and clear the underlying inflammatory environment.

Our Integrative Perspective

When supporting a woman managing uterine fibroids, an integrative strategy prioritises eliminating external oestrogenic triggers, binding circulating toxins, and delivering localised, tissue-oxygenating support directly to the pelvic region.

In assessing her medical profile, several core biological mechanisms guided our approach:

  • Addressing Oestrogen Dominance & Dietary Xenobiotics: Fibroid tissue proliferation is intimately linked to excessive oestrogenic stimulation. Modern diets often contain xenoestrogens—synthetic chemical mimics found in commercially farmed meats and dairy treated with growth hormones, as well as high-carbohydrate foods that alter liver oestrogen metabolism. Transitioning to an anti-oestrogenic, ketogenic framework starves aberrant tissue growth and supports hepatic hormone clearance.

  • Localised & Systemic Redox Oxygenation: Fibroid tissue thrives in hypoxic, low-oxygen micro-environments characterised by poor local circulation. Combining systemic oral oxidative therapy with targeted local irrigation modalities helps oxygenate pelvic tissues, ease local congestion, and encourage natural cellular clearance without disturbing fragile mucosal boundaries.

  • Trace Mineralisation & Isotonic Hydration: Endocrine gland health and cellular fluid balance depend heavily on full-spectrum trace minerals. Utilising isotonic marine plasma delivers essential electrolytes and trace elements, optimising cellular uptake and supporting thyroid and adrenal function.

Our primary focus was to offer a deeply supportive, empowering environment—helping her transition from a state of medical anxiety to one of clear, purposeful daily action at home.

Building the Plan

To reduce hormonal strain, support tissue oxygenation, and encourage natural fibroid regression, we structured a multi-faceted bio-integrative strategy:

1. Dietary Hormone Unburdening & Anti-Oestrogenic Shift

  • Anti-Oestrogenic Ketogenic Diet: Eliminating refined carbohydrates, sugars, processed wheat, and conventionally raised dairy or meat products that may contain growth hormones. Focusing on clean, organic proteins, healthy fats, and cruciferous vegetables helped unburden the liver and steady circulating oestrogen levels.

2. Systemic & Localised Cellular Oxygenation

  • Daily Systemic Redox Solutions: Incorporating a daily oral oxidative therapy protocol, gradually escalating from conservative amounts to higher concentrations according to personal tolerance to promote micro-vascular circulation and systemic oxygenation.

  • Local & External Modalities: Recommending gentle, localised mucosal irrigation applications and soothing full-body bath protocols infused with diluted oxidative therapy solutions to deliver localised anti-inflammatory support directly to the pelvic region.

3. Marine Plasma Mineral Rebalancing

  • Isotonic Seawater Integration: Combining oral protocols with isotonic marine plasma—crafted by diluting pure ocean seawater with pure fresh water—to restore cellular hydration, optimise gut flora, and supply essential trace minerals.

Walking the Journey Together

Navigating a condition as intimate and distressing as uterine fibroids can leave a woman feeling disconnected from her own body and vulnerable to sudden flare-ups of pain or heavy bleeding.

We walked alongside this client with consistent empathy and detailed instruction, demystifying each stage of her protocol. We guided her on how to select clean, hormone-free foods, prepare her daily oral and local remedies safely, and mix her marine plasma solutions at home. Transforming these complex biological principles into an easy, comforting daily routine replaced her fear of surgery with a profound sense of self-efficacy and emotional calm.

Where Things Stand Today

By addressing the root drivers of oestrogen dominance, supporting gut-barrier clearance, and enhancing local pelvic oxygenation, the client achieved remarkable improvements in her quality of life. Her severe pelvic discomfort subsided, menstrual flow normalised, and her overall physical vitality was restored.

This successful recovery underscores a core principle of our work: when we unburden the endocrine system of artificial stressors, clear metabolic waste, and provide targeted cellular oxygenation, the female body holds an extraordinary capacity to re-establish hormonal equilibrium and renew its natural resilience.
